Applications The new efector m units with increased sensing range of the mobile series are specially adapted for use in vehicles. e1-type approval The e1 type approval by the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (German Federal Office for Motor Traffic) certifies that the units comply with the automotive standards and can therefore be installed on vehicles without invalidating their operating permit.
Environmental influences The units with stainless steel housings pass environmental tests without problem,for example salt spray test, temperature/humidity cycles, continuous shocks and vibration.
Wide temperature range The permissible application range of the sensors covers -40 °C to +85 °C. Furthermore, the units are insensitive to rapid temperature changes. High ingress-resistance The sensors of the efector m mobile series are distinguished by their superb seal and withstand even high-pressure cleaning without problem. This is evidenced by the protection rating IP 69 K. Wide voltage range A voltage range of 10...60 V ensures that even wide fluctuations in the on-board system do not cause any problems.
