One unit – a wide range of options
The TA type temperature sensor is a universal transmitter with a 4...20 mA current output. Due to a Pt1000 sensor element of precision class A and factory calibration, the achieved precision is 0.15 K at 60 °C.
Using ifm’s tried-and-tested film technology the unit also features excellent response times. So this sensor is suited for all highly precise and rapid processes.
Application
In the food industry and in many other industrial applications, precise temperature measurement is indispensable. In particular biological processes such as fermentation and pasteurisation take place in a temperature range of 60 °C to 70 °C. In this temperature range the TA3231 temperature transmitter features its highest precision because of its factory calibration.
Providing a standardised 4...20 mA analogue signal enables processing in any common controller.
