DKD and ISO calibration of temperature sensors.

ifm calibration laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Calibration reports with 3, 5 and n measurement points available.
  • Measuring range from -20 to 150 °C.
  • Available for all temperature sensors.
  • Calibration of temperature sensors with current or voltage output, resistor (Pt100, Pt1000) and display.
The accuracy of temperature measuring units plays a decisive role during production processes. The quality of the final product depends on it. It is indispensable to monitor the sensors regularly.
That means that the requirements on the product certification increase; only the indications in the data sheet are no longer sufficient and regular verification is necessary.
On this basis ifm electronic offers not only long-standing tried-and-tested development and production experience but also calibration of temperature sensors to DKD and ISO.
This service includes both the calibration of new sensors purchased ex works and periodic calibrations.

  • General calibration process
The comparative measurement is performed in a stirred, temperature-controlled liquid bath.
  • According to Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD)
Following the DKD-R 5-1 directive "Calibration of resistance thermometers" calibration is performed by ifm electronic as an accredited laboratory by means of comparative measurement.
  • Measuring systems to DKD / ISO
They are traceable to national standards of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) and other national standards.
