To upgrade field-compatible and compact IO-Link master modules with digital inputs
- To expand IO-Link master modules by digital inputs
- Compact due to M8 sockets
- Robust plastic housing in a small design for limited space
- Short-circuit and overload detection
Digital inputs for IO-Link
The new IO-Link input modules provide an easy and cost-effective way to expand the IO-Link master modules for field use by digital inputs. The compact M8 version is used when digital signals have to be collected in a very small space. Up to eight overload and short-circuit protected M8 ports are available. They collect 8 digital sensor signals in a decentralised manner and convert them to IO-Link communication. The connection to the master is established via an M12 connection cable. Fault analysis is available via IO-Link.
Robust
The robust plastic housing resists the harsh requirements in the field.
