Improving production systems with ifm sensors
In cooperation with ifm, they develop applications with fluid sensors, pressure switches, and flow sensors as well as continuous online monitoring of vibrations and temperatures. The partnership with ifm has enabled GROB to improve control of their production systems by conducting timely maintenance and inspections and accessing online information to monitor their machines. This has strengthened their competitive position in the market. GROB emphasises the user-friendliness and ease of installation of ifm products. Additionally, efficiency is improved by enabling preventive maintenance of specific devices, such as the spindle motor. This is of great benefit to the customer as it helps prevent tool breakage and costly repairs, which would represent a significant expense.
