Wilton Heat Transfer is an internationally operating company in the service and maintenance of heat transfer process equipment. To optimise their customers' processes, they carry out vibration analysis for the condition monitoring of the plant.
In this way, the mechanical condition of air conditioning systems can be predicted in order to carry out predictive maintenance. Process data, such as temperature, humidity and wind conditions are also measured, as these influence the performance of air-cooled heat exchangers. And this useful data is brought together via a VPN connection through the gateway to Wilton's Azure Cloud. ifm helped Wilton Heat Transfer to design the hardware and set up the sensors.
