ifm receives “Alfa Laval Supplier of the year Award 2020”

Awarded for excellent cooperation: The „Supplier of the Year Award“ was established to recognise the best global performance based on cost development, deliveries, quality, lead times, volume increase, flexibility and communication.

The prize is awarded to five different groups of suppliers from the metal, rubber, logistics, mechanical and plant engineering and electronics sectors. ifm belongs to the electronics sector (sensors/measuring devices, software and automation). 

The ifm group of companies had been nominated by the Alfa Laval Global Supply Chain Team led by Per Fogt Norup, Global Purchasing Manager, the team of Bjarne Søndergaard, Vice President Business Unit Hygienic Fluid Handling, and employees from procurement/logistics as well as portfolio managers and R&D employees from various product groups. 

ifm was able to convince with innovative strength as well as with an excellent dialogue with the development department at Alfa Laval. In addition, the good logistics, which ensures punctual delivery times, and, of course, the results of the cooperation were decisive for winning the award.
