Configuring blind pressure transmitters

Many blind pressure transmitters on the market cannot be configured for special application requirements. The PM transmitters have several parameters that can be programmed, including a scalable analog signal.

Parameter setting of the PM can be carried out via the IO-Link interface. More details can be found below on this page or in the operating instructions on the the product datasheet page under the Downloads tab.

Configuration with free moneo software

moneo | configure

moneo | configure is a user-friendly software package that enables easy programming and visualization of all ifm IO-Link enabled sensors (V1.0 and V1.1) as well as other manufacturers' IO-Link enabled sensors (V1.1).  The software can be downloaded here: moneo | configure.

moneo | blue

moneo | blue is an app that runs on your Apple or Android smart phones and provides access to all parameters, process values and diagnostics from all sensors connected to an IO-Link master. The Bluetooth™ adapter, EIO330, connects to one port of the IO-Link master and the app can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple App Store or from Google play.

ASP2 / AEP2 Analog start / end points
  • ASP2 = value at which 4 mA signal is provided
  • AEP2 = value at which 20 mA signal is provided
  • Minimum distance between ASP2 and AEP2 is 20% of full range
uni Select standard units of measure. Varies by part number.
FOU2* Response of the output in case of a fault
  • [OU]:  Analog signal based on measured pressure
  • [On]:  Analog signal jumps to 21.5 mA
dAA Delay for analog signal
  • 0...4 s in steps of 0.1 s
dAP Delay for digital IO-Link signal
  • 0...4 s in steps of 0.1 s
tcoF / coF Teach of zero point offset
  • Shift the internal measured value to 0
  • ​​​​​​-3...3% of full range

*FOU2 parameter is only available with the PM15xx series.
