Recommended installation guidelines

The full-metal ultrasonic sensors are easy to install. Simply secure to a bracket using supplied EPDM damping washers. The damping washers prevent measurement influence due to mounting.

Do not use sound tube

A sound tube can be used by most ultrasonic sensors to better focus the beam and remove interference with tank walls and other obstructions. However, the design of the stainless-steel sound-transmitting diaphragm prevents proper operation of the sound tube. For these sensors, the size of the sound beam is adjusted via IO-Link.
