moneo remoteConnect enables manufacturer-independent remote access to PLCs, servers, sensors and other network devices directly from the moneo Cloud. Your data is permanently encrypted via an end-to-end connection and can only be viewed with specific access configurations.
In the event of process deviations, detailed fault analysis can be carried out remotely, avoiding long waiting times for the service engineer and machine downtime. The need for on-site service engineers is reduced to a minimum and your machine availability is maintained.

Your easy remote maintenance with moneo remoteConnect
To start a connection, the service engineer needs the free remoteConnect client. The connection is then established between the remoteConnect client and the edgeGateway in production. No adjustments to the network or machine infrastructure are required. The moneo Cloud acts as an intermediary and ensures the connection is established. The connection is always encrypted end-to-end at all.
Service engineers analyse and resolve the error message remotely. If a direct solution is not possible, the service engineers are optimally prepared for the on-site visit thanks to the remote diagnostics. Remote maintenance avoids long waiting and travelling times as well as high costs due to possible machine downtime.
IT security: your security is our priority
IT security is a mandatory requirement for remote connections to critical equipment and production facilities. ifm sets very high standard to ensure your security.
- Connections can only be established to previously shared devices and created in moneo with the appropriate authorisations. Access to the previously selected devices is granted via “split tunnelling”. All other network users cannot be reached.
- Each service engineer needs an account in the moneo Cloud. This prevents unauthorised persons from gaining access.
- We use state-of-the-art technology with very high security standards
